The Vessiere brothers Charles and Justin opened their decorating workshop in Nancy in 1901.The "blanks" were made by Muller Freres and others and were decorated with their own acid cut designs. They also brought in blanks made by Baccarat to decorate. The relationship was already well established as they were established retailers for the Cristalleries de Baccarat within Nancy.
