Antique 19th C Webb Cameo Art Glass Scent Bottle Perfume Gorham Sterling Cap
Presented here for your consideration is this Beautiful 19th Century, Victorian Era, Cameo Art Glass Lay Down Scent Bottle Perfume Bottle featured with the Sterling Silver Cap made by the Gorham Company as signed and shown on the inside of the Cap. Gorgeous Lilies and Leaves in Cameo are featured against the Canary Yellow Glass body and is a very striking bottle and was made by the highly regarded English Maker of fine Art Glass, Thomas Webb. I have left the Sterling Silver Cap uncleaned as some buyers prefer the aged patina.
It appears that the previous owner may have tried to clean at one time as there is some polish residue on the inside Cap. The Cap lock works fine (depress the protruding button and it releases the Cap and depress this button to close again). In looking closely under my magnify glass it shows where there are some subtle cut and polishing? At the end of the bottle, but cannot be seen unless closely inspecting under a magnigying glass and have tried to show in my close-up image, a very very minute tiny flake at the end of the bottle and there is a subtle dent to the Sterling Cap along the top edge.
