The lovely glass base is painted with a tall tree standing along a shore with sailboats in the foreground and mountains in the back. The silk shade has looped french with gold embroidered border and green velvet piping. The base of the lamp is lit as well as the shaded portion via a three way light. The base portion of the lamp measures 8.5" x 5" with an overall measurement of 17 tall. There is a small tear to the bottom portion of one section of the lamp. The base appears to have been professionally repaired at the bottom as pictured.
