Antique Legras French Cameo Signed Art Glass Lamp Grape & Leaf Orig Finial 22
Exceptionally rare, signed, antique Legras French art glass lamp in the Grape & Leaf design. We would call the base color mauve, its an unusual color, sort of a neutral in the pink/red family but very soft, somewhere between the hue of ruby and amethyst glass. The finial is ruby glass, appears to be original to the piece and is an orb that sits in a claw.
It measures 22 tall from bottom to finial. The glass does not appear to have any condition issues. The metal findings all appear original but we are unsure about the wiring. It looks vintage but not as old as the lamp.The metals on this lamp are tarnished and the panel on the underside is badly oxidized, but not visible when the lamp is displayed upright. What you see here is exactly what you will receive.
