Art Deco Schneider Bros. Le Verre Francais Cameo Art Glass Flowering Bush Lamp
We are offering an original antique circa 1920's Art Deco Schneider Chardon Le Verre Francais Cameo Art Glass lamp, beautifully decorated with a hand cut glossy mottled deep red design, layered on a swirling lime green body. Unsigned, guaranteed to be old and not a reproduction. The bold stylized flowering bush motif is repeated four times around the flared neck ovoid form, with patinated metal base, the cap supporting a tall shaft with two sockets.
A high quality hand crafted custom made shade has incorporated elements of the design very tastefully and artistically. The art glass itself stands 13" tall x 7" across at the widest points; the total height of the lamp from bottom of the 6 1/4 d. Base to the finial is 28. The shade is 11 1/4" tall from top to bottom, 12 3/8" when measured at an angle; it is 9 d. Across the top x 17 d.
No chips, cracks or repairs. Hardware appears to be newer than the glass.
The shade is contemporary and custom made to match the design of the art glass. Has been recently professionally rewired. The lights turn on and off with ease. Please study the photos as they are a part of the description. Fresh out of an estate and offered here for the first time.
