BLACK Panther from Pilgrim Art Glass by Kelsey Murphy Sand Carved Cameo Urn Vase
1980's piece of Pilgrim Art Glass. Created by well known Artisan Glass Blower, Kelsey Murphy. Murphy is a noted American glass artist who worked for and oversaw production of the cameo line at Pilgrim Glass (established 1949 - 2002) in Huntington, West Virginia. This is a sand carved engraving on Black Cameo blown glass depicting a unique Black Panther in the ancient style. Measures 7 5/8" tall x 9" diameter with a 7 3/8 round opening making it great for an Urn or a Vase. It is in beautiful shape. There are a few scuffs in the sand cameo areas which I have pointed out in photos. This glass bowl rings nicely when tapped. Signed on the bottom by the artist' Kelsey/Pilgrim'.
