Cristallerie de Emile Galle & Gerard Sandoz Overlaid Cameo Bottle Silver Mounts
Description : An exquisite and rare bottle or flacon by Emile Galle & Gerard Sandoz, featuring wheel cut tiger lilies on an opaque dark red purple and clear ground. Two sides with martele cut finish, complimented by its original silver mounts by Gerard Sandoz. The silver has been acid tested but is apparently unmarked.
With full Cristallerie de Galle engraved signature to the underside, also engraved Modele et Décore Depose. Two screen shots of similar bottles by Galle and with mounts by Gerard Sandoz are included at the end as a reference. 3 inches diameter x 5.5 inches tall.
The glass with no chips or damage, there is one notable burst bubble. The mount with some losses which do not take away from the piece. The lid has one tiny dent that can be fixed but we didn't want to ruin the beautiful patina. We strongly do not recommend cleaning the silver as the mounts are very brittle and will almost certainly snap off. (This item is located in Gardena).Domestic & International Customers - WELCOME!
