Daum Nancy Signed Cameo Glass Footed Vase Heavy Beautiful
For sale is a gorgeous Daum Nancy signed with the cross of Lorraine. Circa is 1875 to 1920. This footed vase is very heavy and I think the leaves and berries which feel a bit sharp to the touch may be wheel carved. The vase is also frosted mottled earth tone colors.
The green gets darker towards the top and has mottled greens and browns on the top rim and under. This vase has been in the home of an elderly lady in southern Illinois for many many years. This was her mother's vase. Her mother and dad owned an antique store in the 50's and 60's. They knew the glass that was the most collectible and had a house full. I have more pieces I will be listing as I can. The vase is 6 tall. The mouth of the vase is a little over 3 across.The widest point of the vase is approximately 6 1/2 to 7.
