Emile Galle Cameo Glass Banjo Shaped Soliflore (Bud Vase) c. 1885
This lovely example of Galle's Art Nouveau production features flowers, leaves and vines in a deep amber color that is cut and acid etched back to reveal a warm brown mauve background color. This Soliflore vase is in a banjo shape with a ground pontil and is decorated on all sides. It is 5.5" tall x 2.75" wide x 1.75 deep.
