It is a specular vase inspired by the simple, yet whimsical patterns of nature during the movement of Art Nouveau , "New Art". The wonderful cameo pattern are in the muted tones of brown, red and green over a warm yellow background.
The large leaves in the design are very outstanding in quality and technique. A stunning vase by Francois- Theodore Legras, that would make an exquisite centre piece and would benefit from being showcased with lighting. Signed: in cameo - Legras. Measures: 10 inches in height x 7 1/2 inches wide x 5 inches deep. Excellent Condition: No chips, or cracks or repairs.
