Up for your consideration is an extremely rare pair of Abel Combe (Paris) gilt bronze mounted cameo glass vases, measuring 11.5 tall. Abel Combe is one of the earliest, and best makers of French cameo glass, with these vases typically being dated between 1880 - 1890, and the style is early Art Nouveau. I have never seen a matched pair available. The vases are both is superb condition, free of flaws. The green & blue cameo glass overlay is free of chips or scratches, and the mottled yellow-orange glass interior is free of cracks, calcium deposits, or signs of use. The mounts are mercury plated gold over bronze, and the patina is bright and even throughout. This quote is for the Continental U.
