Welcome To The Antique Cabinet. For your consideration is a rare and unusual KRALIK Etched-Cameo Art Glass Vase, circa 1900. This unique and very seldom seen glass is documented as a KRALIK décor though it does have a lot of similarities to the Loetz DEK décor. The vase is beautifully decorated with an etched Silberiris, Art Nouveau floral design with an acid-textured amethyst colored ground. It has a very striking body form with an unusual tool cut and folded top rim. It does have a polished pontil on the bottom side- no signature was detected which is very common for this glass. 7¼ tall by 4½ at widest. The vase is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks or repairs and light age-related wear.
An extraordinary example of early Art Nouveau Glass! - - - - -.Most of the items we offer are either vintage collectibles or antiques and though we do try our best to point out any mentionable issues, as with all items of this nature, there may be slight imperfections or manufacturing characteristics of an item such as color nuances, bubbles, ash specks, tool or straw marks, etc. Please take time to view and inspect all photos.
