This gorgeous vase is rare due to its miniature size as well as the three color layers used to carve the realistic design. The vase has a bright yellow glass body overlaid in raspberry and white and features cameo cut branches and leaves with an opal glass interior. These colors were typically used by Thomas Webb and are cameo pieces in this coloration is easily identified as being made by Webb. T his FABULOUS vase was made during the period when the finest cameo glass and intaglio carving was produced in the early years of the 20th Century. The quality of this piece is the very best and the delicate and intricate intaglio carving will amaze you. Measures 2 1/2" high with a maximum width of 2" and has a 3/4 top diameter. Although unmarked as is most of the English cameo glass produced, we guarantee this vase to have been made by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England. We have seen several cameo pieces with this color combination bearing the Webb cameo stamp. Although small, this vase is certainly breathtaking and would fit beautifully in any genereal cameo glass or miniature cameo glass collection. You will absolutely love it!
