Richard Cameo Glass Blackberry Vase c1925
Heading : A Loetz cameo glass signed Richard. Colour : Citrus green and pale brown leaves. Body : Acid cut back , decorated with blackberries and bramble leaves. There are two possibilities for the manufacture. Then there is Loetz who also produced cameo for a retailer and signed Richard. On this occasion we will opt for the Loetz attribution. The identical colour schema can be found on cameo glass signed Loetz. The matt ground is also consistent with this attribution. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971. My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
