While researching comparables, I found something very interesting... After a side-by-side comparison (last pic) of the shading patterns - which match up very nicely - I was able to determine that both vases are one in the same, which I believe speaks to the rarity of this particular model. The vase is documented in "English Cameo Glass", by Ray and Lee Grover and measures 12" H x 7" W, weighs 3 lbs and is in excellent, undamaged condition - save for the expected shelf wear underneath.
It's correctly marked with the "Thomas Webb and Sons" semi-circle impression. The 11th pic contains the original line drawing, the page from Webb's inventory ledger with Model. I 269, and a base shot of the mark as well as the original, 122 year old handwritten model number - rarely seen. REMEMBER TO TURN THE LANDSCAPE PHOTOS SIDEWAYS IN ORDER TO VIEW THEM FULL SIZED - PICS 5 - 9.
