Antique French cameo glass vase. This is a PRETTY and ANTIQUE cameo glass vase, totally in the Art Nouveau taste and period. Large and impressive vase, all Hand decorated, in blue and gold enamel, flowers decoration, with 2 dragonflies. Oval shape, very unusual form.

Pontil iron mark underneath, with polished base (see photo). No signature detected, but it is certainly Legras. What is unusual is the dragonfly decoration, and the oval stripe shape.

Opening diameter : 5.5 inches (14 cm). W : 8 inches (20 cm) maximum width. D : 6 inches (15 cm) maximum depth. Weight : 7 lbs 4.7 oz (3.3 kgs). The heavy weight reflects the thickness of the glass, authenticity of the piece. Thickness of the glass is almost 0.3 inches (1 cm). No chips, cracks or any damage. Rough opening, consistent with age and use.

Scratches on the bottom (see photo). Clean and ready to be placed.
