Imported to New York by the Ovington Brothers. Signed LEGRAS on the exterior, lower half of vase. Hallmarked on bottom: OVINGTON NEW YORK FRANCE. Denis Glassworks and later took over the factory and founded Legras Glassworks. In 1866, Legras built an enormous factory to manufacture his glass.
