Exceptional all original signed piece of Moser cameo art glass is this unique and beautiful 11 high tankard. There has been several unique techniques done on this tankard to achieve the beautiful finished piece of art which it is. Notice on the bottom the exceptional large ground pontil on this tankard, the cameo etched layers to give one the different dimensional effects, along with the scrolling enameled designs to finish off this exquisite piece of art glass.
This is a signed piece of Moser. There is the words, Moser Karlsbad There is a large half circle coming off of the r at the end of Moser and connecting the K in Karlsbad.From what I can tell in the Moser art glass reference books, this signature would date this tankard to the 1870 to 1925 time period. The base of this tankard is 5 diameter. Again excellent original condition on this Moser tankard, there is some wear to the gold highlights on this piece is the only imperfection to note.
