Webb of England perfected the "Cameo" glass process and gave a patent right to Mt. Washington in the Early 1870s.Washington only made Cameo Glass for a short time and they are somewhat hard to come by. This pattern was featured in Betty Sisks 2002 Mt. Washington Art Glass Book and shows the same pattern in pale blue. The bowl itself measures approximately 9" wide x 4 1/4" tall and weighs 2.4 Lbs. The frame, which is unmarked, is 12" tall x 11 1/4" wide and weighs 1.5 lbs.
The bowl is free of any major damage, but does have several (about 8) tiny fleabites on the ruffled edge. Not perfect, but not too bad for a 130+ year old bowl. No flaking of the pink cameo image(s) that I could see. A tiny flake of pink on the rim (see photo). Displays beautifully and has a gorgeous pink color.
