Carved Cameo Glass 1970's Misu Coman Romanian Butterfly Vase
This is an absolutely OUTSTANDING cameo glass vase with wonderful butterflies scattered over the surface of the frosted glass background. The decoration is deeply cut and finely detailed. This piece is signed Coman, produced by Misu Coman in Romania. Pieces similar to Murano glass and marked "Coman Designs" were produced after 1990. This vase is about 7 1/2" in height and about 4" across shoulder to shoulder. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. I believe this piece is from the 60's to 70's. Has what appears to be the original label on the underside that is unreadable mostly. We don't mark up our items by a great amount, so reasonable offers only please.
