Legras Pate De Verre Cameo Type Vase With Hexagonal Rim. Marked Depose
A really nice example of a Legras Pate De Verre Vase signed "Depose", depicting a landscape scene featuring trees, lake and sailing boats. Stands 11" from base to rim, measures 4.5" at the base and around 4.25 across the rim. Colored in Brown, Beige and Green. The inside of the vase bears what appears to be "pinch points" presumably from its manufacture, where the hot glass has been handled, although these make no discernible difference to the overall look of the piece. Apart from those production marks, there are no chips, cracks or losses, aside from the normal wear, one would expect from a piece of glass of this period.
