PILGRIM CAMEO "HOUSE OF LOVE" DOME SHAPE CONSERVATORY BOX, ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!! Up for sale from my personal collection of PILGRIM CAMEO GLASS by Chris Carpenter, Kelsey Murphy, and the late Bob Bomkamp is an incredible Dome shape Conservatory Box titled "The House of Love" etched signatures on the base of Chris Carpenter, Kelsey/Bomkamp, also includes the early Pilgrim Cameo mark, registry # and title of the piece. This piece was designed and hand carved by Chris Carpenter, completed on 10/15/2013.
This piece features carvings not only on the outside but the INSIDE! Of the piece aswell which is an extremely rare, difficult and delicate task to accomplish with the glass already being so thin from the exterior carvings! This is a true 1 of a kind piece, featuring 3 layers of glass white, crystal and green with intricate identical repeated carvings all the way around the piece top and bottom, of archways, doves, scrollwork, and windows. The interior is carved with a lovely floral decoration and butterflies. I have enjoyed this piece but it is time to let someone else enjoy it as much as i have as there are some other pieces i have my eye on and need to make a little room.This will make a perfect addition to any cameo glass collection, or collection in general.
