RARE VINTAGE 1920's SCHNEIDER "LE VERRE FRANCAIS" 9"H CAMEO GLASS LAMP BASE "FRANCE. FLOWERS ON MOTTLED blue/grey cylinder. HANGING ORANGE BLOSSOMS SUBTLY MOTTLED w. COBALT ABOVE FLAME-LIKE COBALT LEAVES MOTTLED w. FLARING 5 ½ diameter flower-form COBALT BASE (notched from underside to form decorative ridges on surface).
TWO OF US LOVED LOOKING AT THIS EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE OF FRENCH CAMEO GLASS FOR 30-40 YEARS. There are no chips, flakes or other damages, but there is one condition and it's the way we bought it: the metal band around the mouth is original and is visibly oxidized (unsurprising in metal 100 years old that likely was not meant to be exposed).
