Description and Condition: This footed vase is a mystery of sorts. It is a genuine antique piece of cameo glass, produced in the manner of Daum's much adored winter scenes. The excellent techniques used on this piece as well as the glass blank itself would make one look for the Daum Nancy signature. But there is no signature of any kind.

Or maybe it was a prototype that the factory decided against producing and somehow found its way into the public glass market. Whatever the truth is about this vase, it is a lovely piece of work and I think well worth adding to a cameo glass collection. This vase has no chips, cracks or repairs. It is about 5 inches high and 4.5 inches diameter. It sits on four glass feet of about a half-inch long.
